Art has always been in my life. Drama, writing, felting, ceramics and lots of adult coloring.

In 2015 I picked up a brush after my mother died.  I wanted to express my grieve and most of all I wanted to comfort myself. I found out that feathers, leaves and spirals are soothing to me and girls wrapped up like a Russian matroesjka. So I painted lots of them. Also color is important to me, for it makes me feel alive.

I do art journaling and mixed media right in the middle of my livingroom. It's messy, but it enables me easy acces to both my painting and my family.
